The D-HV-5 offers heavy-duty durability and is engineered for reliability in extreme weather conditions. It provides the performance of vertical blades and the pleasing aesthetics of horizontal blades. It is AMCA 512 Listed (AMCA 540 enhanced and AMCA 550). While the AMCA 550 high velocity wind-driven rain test is technically a pass or fail trial, the D-HV-5 only allowed 740 milliliters of total water intrusion over the 4 test intervals, which is approximately 9% of the total allowable water intrusion of 8149 milliliters.
