Meet the Team: Ross Strickland
Meet Ross Strickland, General Manager/Director of Engineering.
“The relationships are my favorite part of working at Air Performance. I enjoy collaborating on the opportunities and challenges that come with our diverse projects, both alongside our employees and with our customers.”
Get to know Ross
As a co-founder of Air Performance, Ross has been part of the team since its inception. After overseeing the construction of the original building in 2004, the company officially opened its doors in early 2005.
In the early days, Ross wore many hats, serving as the sole engineer responsible for product design and drafting while also working in the shop fabricating, painting, and shipping products. As the team grew, he shifted his focus to engineering, eventually becoming Vice President of Engineering. Following the retirement of former president David Bearden, Ross transitioned to his current role as General Manager.
Outside of work, Ross enjoys spending time with his four children, attending their college and high school sports events, riding 4-wheelers, and restoring classic cars.
Fun fact: “I’m the youngest grandchild in a large family. My dad is one of twelve, so I had plenty of cousins—but none younger than me!”
